Elementary School Faculty Profiles

Our teachers are highly qualified and passionate about what they do. For the 2012/13 school year, ISM will have 75 teachers who have come to Yangon from all over the world, with many holding advanced degrees. Additionally, over 60 Myanmar assistant teachers work to help ensure that all students are engaged in personalized learning.

As lifelong learners, ISM teachers and administrators engage in a range of professional development opportunities offered at ISM. ISM facilitates a Master's degree offered through Buffalo State (SUNY), and hosts leading educational experts to run workshops twice a year. ISM is proud to be a member of East Asian Regional Council for Overseas Schools (EARCOS), which provides professional development opportunities.
