Life at ISM

Student Council

Students at ISM experience leadership opportunities in various settings and learn about building relationships within teams and completing tasks effectively, and learn to display effective communication and interpersonal skills. All students should be capable of exercising leadership in different contexts. The more leadership is encouraged, the more it flourishes. The ISM Student Council is a year-long volunteer organization for Students from grades 2-12.

High School Student Council (Grades 9-12)

Three representatives from each grade level are elected by the student body. The twelve new Stuco members then elect the executive committee consisting of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary. The council’s goal is to act as the voice of the ISM student body, stakeholders in the school and facilitate non-academic activities. Some of the events sponsored and organized by HS StuCo are the Winter Semi-Formal, Prom, STUCO Olympics and the Pep Rally.
