Jacob is an international, he attended the Hanoi International School as a student and has worked in international schools in Vietnam, China, and Malaysia. He holds a doctorate in education and has served as an elementary principal in both the United States and Malaysia. In his free time he enjoys long distance running and exploring food from all over the world.
Originally from central England, Mr. Taylor taught in UK schools for 7 years before moving overseas. He brings 23 years of school leadership experience, having previously served as Principal, Curriculum Director, and Head of School in Manila, and Hong Kong. Along with his wife, he is excited to join the ISM community.
Jeff joined ISM in 2000 as a MS/HS teacher and moved into leadership in 2010 and as the High School Principal in 2018. Prior to that, he worked in Great Britain and Thailand. Jeff brings with him 25+ years of experience in public, private and international school settings. Before joining the field of education, Jeff worked for the merchant bank, Barings, in the city of London, for five years as an equity trader.
Mark joins ISM in 2021 as Middle School Principal. Prior to that, he has worked in Thailand, Singapore and Australia. Mark brings with him 35+ years of experience in international and Australian school settings. When time permits, Mark enjoys a good cup of coffee, playing golf, attending the theatre and exploring new cultures.
Lyle joined ISM at the beginning of the 2024/25 school year. Lyle previously worked in 7 different international schools over the past 30 years with 15 years of leadership experience. Lyle enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, and spending time with his family.
