Students at ISM experience leadership opportunities in various settings and learn about building relationships within teams and completing tasks effectively, and learn to display effective communication and interpersonal skills. All students should be capable of exercising leadership in different contexts. The more leadership is encouraged, the more it flourishes. The ISM Student Council is a year-long volunteer organization for Students from grades 2-12.
Three representatives are elected by students from each grade level. These twelve students then elect from their number a President, Vice-President and Treasurer. The council’s goal is to act as the voice of the ISM student body, stakeholders in the school and facilitate non-academic activities. Some of the events sponsored and organized by HS StuCo are Fright Fest, Winter Semi-Formal, Prom, STUCO Olympics and Pep Rally.

There is also an executive committee consisting of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary voted in by the student body. The council’s goal is to act as the voice of the ISM student body, stakeholders in the school and facilitate non-academic activities. Some of the events sponsored and organized by MS StuCo are the MS Thandingyut ceremony for teachers, the Winter Social Dance and various fundraising events initiated by MS StuCo.

Each classroom elects a representative. The council’s goal is to act as the voice of the ISM student body in the ES administration, as well as, encourage students to be involved in their community and build their leadership skills. Some of the events sponsored by the ES StuCo are Spirit Week, Everybody Can Play Day, Talent Show, Fundraising Activities initiated by Students and hosting the last assembly of the year.
